Willard Bay Reservoir Recreational Monitoring

Willard Bay Reservoir is located at 900 W. 650 N., Willard in Box Elder County. It is west of I-15, exit 357. November 1, 2025: Recreational water quality monitoring update

Recreational water quality monitoring has ended for the season. Monitoring will resume in June or July 2026. Harmful algal blooms can occur year-round, so know what to look for and always check before recreating.

August 6, 2025: HAB monitoring update

GOOD NEWS: Our monitoring team noted signs of a possible harmful algal bloom, but samples confirmed that cyanobacteria concentrations remain below recreational thresholds. Know how to recognize a harmful algal bloom.
